The purpose of this channel is to provide uplifting and positive advice and inspiration about life in general and my personal hobby of all things automotive. I am crazy about all cars, from Audi to Zephyr! I am a "Jill" of all trades and in order to adapt my channel to "my brand", I am now "BETH'S GARAGE". To date, I have owned over 90 different cars of all makes and models, most of them sports cars, but I am interested in all things automotive. According to my former ADHD counselor, for some reason, automotive hobbies are a popular choice for people with ADD/ADHD. I find this to be fascinating because cars are my greatest passion, together with Racing Cars for fun, collecting cars and the sport of Surfing.

You say "tap on the negative terminal" Explain exactly how you tap on the negative terminal.
@@mulldoon0 tap on top of the negative terminal of the battery using the negative terminal cable.
You can also feed power from a battery or a plugged in battery charger to a cigarette lighter plug in the dash. Use a cigarette plug that is the right size with leads on it to connect to spare battery or battery charger. Took about 10 minutes of charging the car through there on 6 amp charge. May take longer with trickle charger. That allows the hood release lever to actuate.
@thomasbowes8483 yeah, for some reason, mine never would work. Granted, when I did that, it was many years ago and technology has advanced tremendously.

If your doors are unlocked, you can put a cigarette lighter adapter into the outlet and put a 12V charger on it. You can then open the front trunk 😊
